Site Visit to the Kuwait Oasis – Hosted by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)

08:30 – 09:00                     Busses depart from The Regency Hotel

09:00 – 09:30                     Delegates arrive at PG-01 – 30 –A visit to the first installed (and still producing) well head in Kuwait which was built in 1938.

09:45 – 10:00                      Delegates are transported to GC-2 (Gathering Center – 2)

10:00 – 10:40                       Delegate tour of GC-2 – Inside the GC they will explain how to separate the oil from the gas from the water and also what are the different operations that will follow it.

10:40 – 10:50                       Delegates are transported to the unique Kuwait Oasis in Burgan Fields usually reserved exclusively to KOC employees only

10:50 – 11:45                        Delegate tour of the Kuwait Oasis

11:45 – 13:00                      Break for buffet lunch

Site Visit to the Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery – Hosted by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC)

13:00 – 13:45                     Buses depart from the Oasis to the KNPC Site Visit

13:45 – 14:15                       Delegates arrive – 30 minute presentation from KNPC

14:15 – 15:45                      Tour of a KNPC Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, one of the world’s most modern refineries

15:45 – 16:30                     Busses return to The Regency Hotel
